Marine technology company savvy navvy has appointed American-based Alex Ostler as its new chief marketing officer, as the boating navigation app continues to scale up its growth.

Alongside its new chief marketing officer, savvy navvy has also grown its engineering team appointing two new developers based in Berlin and Poland, as the leading global boating navigation app keeps investing in enhancing its features based on user feedback.

“As we enter the next phase of our business, it’s the right time to build our executive team starting with the chief marketing officer role with the main focus of further accelerating our growth. Now in our seventh year here at savvy navvy, we are actively shaping the marine industry for the better and challenging the bigger navigation apps in the market. Alex has a wealth of experience, has spent years at Google and has expertise in marketing for high-growth start-ups.
