The MAIB has released its preliminary assessment of an incident which occurred on 29 June 2023 during an RYA training course.
The assessment identified risks associated with the equipment/vessel design used during the training course and should be reviewed by all boatbuilders which manufacture vessels for use in training courses and all operators who provide training.
