Enginuity, a not-for-profit organisation supporting employers, training providers and individuals in UK engineering by developing skills for the future, is now reviewing the National Occupational Standards (NOS). It is calling for evidence and feedback from stakeholders, education institutions, private training providers and employers relating to the current review.

The following NOS details are under review:

  • Composites Suite 2 – see the status document here
  • Composites Suite 3 – see the status document here

To ensure that the consultation results are productive, it is essential that employers, training providers, awarding bodies and sector groups are involved in the review.  Your feedback is important and will help to ensure the final standards remain fit for purpose and reflect current industry practice and requirements.

As part of the project, Enginuity intends to run two online consultation sessions on the following dates:

  • Thursday 9 September 2021 – 10.30am – 12.00pm
  • Thursday 23 September 2021 – 14.00pm – 15.30pm

If you would like to attend either or both sessions, you can contact Enginuity directly by emailing robert.bruce@enginuity.org to register your interest.

This work underpins apprenticeships and competence-based qualifications across the UK. It is therefore vitally important to receive feedback from the sector and employers within the industry.
