The Maritime Training Academy has launched new guidance to assist professionals who are either looking for a new challenge or hoping to put years of boating experience into a position closer to home.
For those wishing to transfer to land, but not having the knowledge or confidence to do so, The Maritime Training Academy recommends expanding your skills portfolio as a first step. The Academy offers a range of courses to assist with developing existing skills and learning new ones. These include:
Physical/hands on marina-based courses:
- Boatyard & Marina Operations
- Superyacht Project Management – refit & newbuild
- Yacht and Boat Building
- Superyacht Surveying (yacht & small craft surveying)
Office-based courses include:
- Marine Insurance Claims
- Maritime Law
- Superyacht Management
- Yacht Brokerage
