The Hydrogen Innovation Initiative has been set up with support from Innovate UK and its Industrial Advisory Board, with the mission to accelerate the development of critical hydrogen technology and supply chains in the UK.
A key near-term objective is to develop the case for increasing investment in hydrogen technology innovation and supply chain development in the UK. To support this, a UK Hydrogen Technology Strategy will be published in early 2024 and a Case for Investment in a multi-year national programme of innovation and supply chain development for UK industry targeting a 2025 launch.
British Marine will be working with Maritime UK to support this strategy and asks for any interested members to get in touch to discuss how we can ensure the future strategy is aligned with our sector’s needs.
