Wahoo was born from a partnership of two friends.
Paul Holland and Julian Willmott set themselves the task of building a rib like no other. It had to be quick but sublimely comfortable with peerless handling and room for the two families.
They discovered a 10m powerboat hull lying abandoned in a French barn – it turned out to be a race-winning design from the esteemed naval architect Lorne Campbell, which had been raced successfully for many years whilst sponsored by Vodafone.
The entrepreneurial duo snapped up the rights to the hull as the basis for their new 10m super-rib with the first Wahoo launched in 2008. Wahoo quickly proved a big hit with the media and discerning owners of some of the world’s finest super-yachts.
