The Boating Tourism in Scotland survey is undertaken every six years and provides vital evidence on how the sailing and leisure boating tourism sector is performing in Scotland.
The aim is to ensure that our sector and businesses have quality, robust data when making funding applications, leading delivery of our strategy or simply planning business operations.
EKOS Ltd has been commissioned by British Marine Scotland, alongside a range of other partners, to undertake this study. We are seeking support from operators of boating facilities (marina, harbour or mooring) and charter hire operators in Scotland.
We are gathering information on the sailing and leisure boating market and issues that will affect its future success. The questionnaires ask for information about your current capacity and level of demand, and should take around 20 minutes to complete.
The marina/harbour/mooring operator survey can be accessed here – https://online1.snapsurveys.com/boatingoperators
The charter hire operator survey can be accessed here – https://online1.snapsurveys.com/charteroperators
We are also undertaking a major survey of recreational boat owners/users using Scottish waters and facilities and we would welcome support with promoting and distributing the consumer survey. The boater survey can be accessed via www.boatingsurvey.scot. This survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete and by way of thanks, completed questionnaires will be entered into a prize draw for a Spinlock Deckvest LITE+.
Thank you for your support.
