The 2022 RYA Affiliated Clubs Conference season gets underway on Wednesday, 5 October with an online evening hosted by Olympian and broadcaster Shirley Robertson.

This national RYA Live – Club Show will set the scene for our in-person RYA Region and Home Country conferences throughout the winter and is ideal for club committee members, staff, and volunteers.

Starting at 7.30pm, the evening will explore how clubs can reconsider their offer, so they remain attractive to existing and potential members and examine the changes in society and what they mean for our sport and its ongoing success for the future.

We’ll be looking back at the highlights of 2022, hearing from clubs about your experiences of growing activity and membership, tackling headline issues such as sustainability and the cost of living – and of course looking at all the ways the RYA is here to support you.

Tickets are free for members of RYA Affiliated Clubs so please do join us from the comfort of your own home or your clubhouse.

The RYA Region and Home Country conferences, sponsored by Gallagher, will provide another opportunity to connect with other clubs as well as RYA staff and volunteers. Join us to hear the headlines from the region and the latest local opportunities for your club. There will be a programme of club development sessions led by experts that will cover a broad range of topics and will show how the RYA’s new Club Management Compliance Toolkit can help you manage your club.

Gareth Brookes, RYA Regional Development Officer Manager, said: “We’re delighted to invite committee members, staff and volunteers from sailing clubs nationwide to sign up for their free ticket to join both the RYA Live Club Show – either from the comfort of their own home or their club house – and to join our regional and home country conferences in person.

“Thanks to the support of Gallagher, these events enable clubs and their representatives to meet up at local venues where they will be able to take part in workshops and tap into RYA expertise on a broad range of topics.”

If you haven’t already done so, book your free ticket for your Region or Home Country conference here – these will build on the topics covered by our online event and have fantastic workshops that will really support your club to find funding, volunteers and new members!

I have read your article carefully and I agree with you very much. This has provided a great help for my thesis writing, and I will seriously improve it. However, I don't know much about a certain place. Can you help me?
