British Marine Boat Retailers and Brokers Association (BRBA) has arranged a series of webinars running in July for the benefit of British Marine members, hosted by Alastair Walton.
The series will be covering the following topics:
- CA/CE changes, and your obligations as an importer
- Tuesday 4 July at 09.30am
- There has been significant changes in CA/CE since Brexit, affecting anyone trying to import boats/goods from the EU. Ross Wombwell, Head of Technical Services at British Marine, will be available for a Q&A session to tell you what you need to know as an importer.
- Update on VAT and Temporary Import
- Tuesday 11 July at 09.30am
- Buyers and sellers remain confused about the post-Brexit rules as relates to the fiscal status of their boat. This open Q&A session with Simon Anslow of PKF Francis Clark will help ensure you are abreast of the latest rules, and who to talk to if you need help.

- Tuesday 18 July at 09.30am
- Many boats are now coming to the market with poor or no documentation. What is actually needed? And what can you do with boats that don’t have enough? This open Q&A session with marine lenders will help you understand what documentation is required.
