HR Toolkit – New for 2023


British Marine is proudly working in partnership with We Do HR to offer a suite of four brand new 3-hour webinars. The online courses are HR for the non-HR manager, Learning and Development, Recruitment and Selection, and Retention. These online webinars will aid you to understand what human resources is, how to recruit staff, how to retain staff and how to turn good staff into a great team.

BMET

A two-day course based around the BMEEA Code of Practice, the industry recommended standard. The course is designed to give candidates a general overview of the knowledge and skills required for a BMEEA-certified Marine Electrical Technician. All information and required knowledge is used mainly with UK marine electric systems and follows not only the BMEEA Code of Practice and ISOs, but also the Recreational Craft Regulations (RCR).

The Marine Electronics Installer (MEI) certificate is an indication of a working knowledge of NMEA’s Installation Standard, which clarifies and defines competent installation practices. A Marine Electronics Installer has demonstrated this proficiency by passing an examination designed to measure understanding of those principles.

Advanced Marina Management Course

Intermediate Marina Management Course

Recreational Craft Regulations (RCR) Awareness

Designed to increase and expand your knowledge of how to meet the requirements of the post Brexit Recreational Craft Regulations, and assist your ability to manufacture, import and sell legally compliant products.
