Maritime UK and British Marine have partnered with the government to deliver a series of online workshops focused on Free Trade Agreements in Canada, Mexico and India. These workshops will provide an opportunity for maritime business to share their views on the UK’s maritime trade policy objectives within the three countries.

Her Majesty’s Government will use these workshops to obtain a better understanding of UK suppliers’ activities in these markets, including market access barriers.

India – Tuesday 12 October, 13:00-16:00

This workshop will give Maritime UK members the chance to set out their key maritime interests in India, what regulatory barriers they face, and what priorities they would like the UK to advance in negotiations.

Canada – Wednesday 13 October, 09:30-11:00

This workshop will allow Maritime UK members to discuss what they see as the key benefits of the existing UK-Canada Trade Continuity Agreement (TCA), and what additional maritime interests they would like to see secured in a new trade deal.

Mexico – Wednesday 13 October, 11:30-13:00
This workshop will allow Maritime UK members to share their maritime interests in Mexico, what regulatory barriers to maritime transport services they face, and what interests they would like to see secured in a new UK-Mexico trade deal. This is an opportunity for MUK to help shape UK Government’s approach and priorities for the new UK-Mexico trade negotiations.
