Since its launch at the 2019 Southampton International Boat Show, the Green Blue Business Directory has been steadily growing and is now adding one new member per month. Achieving its aim of setting a high standard for environmental products and services across the industry, it is the third most visited page on the website, with an average of 300 hits per month. The Green Blue expects to see this increase as environmental awareness and customer demand for sustainable products and services rises.
There is an opportunity for British Marine members to be listed on the directory for free, raising the profile of your company and the environmental products or services they offer. Visit their website to apply.
The Environmental Facilities Register which was launched earlier this year has now added Flare Disposal to its criteria. Ocean Safety will offer this service at four locations across the UK which will be welcomed by the boating community. If you are a marina or boatyard and offer any of the facilities listed (see website for details) you can apply to be added to the register and map.
