METSTRADE, Soundings Trade Only, British Marine and Marine Industry News are joining forces to create a LinkedIn Group focused on female professionals working in the recreational marine industry called the ‘Women in the Marine Industry International’.
“After last year’s successful Women in the Marine Industry International event at METSTRADE, we surveyed the participants requesting their feedback and suggestions. This new LinkedIn group, created as a place for women working in the recreational marine industry to gather, share, learn, and inspire, is a direct result of the requests from the audience. The online group will offer a shared space to connect, provide information, educational tools, opportunities and much more,” commented Michele Goldsmith, vice president and general manager of the Soundings Trade Only group.
“We are happy to contribute to the empowerment of women in the industry through a dedicated social platform – a place where we can connect, support, and inspire each other, fostering growth, and sharing knowledge. Together, we rise and thrive, breaking barriers and shattering glass ceilings,” said Niels Klarenbeek, METSTRADE show director.

The new ‘Women in the Marine Industry International’ LinkedIn page, is dedicated to showcasing the incredible accomplishments of women in marine, providing networking opportunities, and fostering a platform for inspiration, collaboration, and empowerment.”
