We would like to inform all members and exhibitors that unfortunately the Marine Trades Association Awards (MTA) Dinner Sponsored by Marine Industry News due to take place on Monday 13 September and the British Marine Retailers and Brokers (BRBA) Annual Dinner, due to take place on Wednesday 15 September both at Grand Café, Southampton have been postponed.
The events will no longer take place alongside the Southampton International Boat Show and both association committees will meet within the next few months to discuss when the events will be rescheduled.
On behalf of both association chairs, the wider committee and British Marine team we would like to apologise for any inconvenience this has caused and hope to welcome you to the Show to participate in many of the other events and networking opportunities taking place over the ten day period. The full events diary can be viewed here.
For those who have already purchased tickets, a full refund will be issued and you will be contacted directly regarding this.

During the Show, MTA and BRBA will be supporting and hosting some additional events to allow members to still come together and reconnect.
Monday 13 September
BRBA will be supporting Premier Marinas’ Drinks Reception held on their stand E047 from 17.00. The reception will give members the opportunity to network and meet the Premier Marinas team and hear a brief update on all the projects and developments they are undertaking across their network. Registration is not required.
Tuesday 14 September
MTA have instead collaborated with British Marine South and British Marine Isle of Wight to host a joint Breakfast Reception (sponsored by Maritime Yacht Services) during the Show.
The event will take place from 08.30-10.00 at the Show’s Quarter Deck.
With views of the marina and Southampton Waters from the Quarter Deck terrace, a light breakfast and refreshments will be available to attendees who will have the opportunity to catch up, network and discuss business after such a long period of time apart.
Registration is essential and will close on Friday at midday, to book your space please click here.
