The Office for Product Safety and Standards has announced the product recall for a non-compliant Yamarin 46SC boat.
The boats have been recalled as they do not contain enough foam in the AFT area to keep them floating when full of water with a full load. The product therefore does not meet the requirements of the Recreational Craft Regulations 2017.
Consequently, the Office for Product Safety and Standards has recalled the product from end users. To rectify the issue, the manufacturer has initiated a modification programme whereby extra foam will be added to the AFT corners. Affected consumers have been notified directly and are advised to contact their dealers to arrange an appointment to have the modification carried out.
