Leading marine finance lender, Promarine Finance has appointed Julie Crang, strengthening its offering to customers.

Boasting a 20-year career in marine sales, Julie is embarking on a new journey by moving into the marine finance sector. “Moving into marine finance has allowed me to stay in the industry I love, whilst setting me a challenge in a new, exciting direction,” said Julie.

Julie feels working in the marine industry has always been the key to her success and happiness, confirming this new role is more than just a job. “I’m helping like-minded people get on the water by listening and understanding their individual situation. Financing a boat is a massive decision for most so offering a friendly, personal service is right up my street. I am delighted to be part of the team and I am sure my knowledge and experience of this industry will serve me well.”

Following a career in target-driven, strong sales environments in large organisations, Julie’s move to Promarine is quite the change. “Moving to work with the team at Promarine is not like another day at the office, it’s more of a new family and I can see why our customers work with us.”

Mirroring most of her marine colleagues, Julie’s frank about working to live which takes her to the water where she spends most of her free time, afloat with her family and friends.

Stuart Austin, director of Promarine said: “We’re delighted to welcome Julie to the Promarine team. Business is growing due to a significant increase in interest in getting out on the water within the UK. It’s an exciting time to join us and Julie’s experience in the marine industry is sure to bring added value to both the Promarine team and its customers.”
