With the morning sessions consisting of updates and group discussions on how activities can be catered towards participants, the afternoon was spent on the water – with practical sessions for powerboating at Royal Harwich Yacht Club, and sail, board sports and safety boat at Alton Water.
Robbie Bell, Regional Development Officer for the East said: “After a three year break it was fantastic to have so many people come together for a day of discussions and activity aimed at inspiring activity for the coming season. I would very much like to thank everybody that supported this event and made it such a successful day. In particular, the Royal Hospital School, Alton Watersports Centre, Royal Harwich Yacht Club and all of the trainers that delivered the sessions, not to mention all of those that attended, thank you!”
