The event, at Queen Mary Sailing Club on 12 November, aims to support the growth and development of OnBoard providers by looking at how we can enhance our OnBoard programmes.
The morning will consist of a number of land based sessions from a local teacher and the RYA development team. We will look into how this season went and share ideas from what we all have learnt. Using the latest insight from schools and with representation from teachers we will discuss the best way to get schools into our clubs and centres and bring together useful examples of best practice so the day will help equip and prepare you for next season.
In the afternoon you will have three choices to upskill your team; please select your preference when booking:
• RS21 Keelboat Sailing
• Powerboat Training
• Further land based sessions
The weather this time of year can be a bit cold, so on water activity will be restricted to the above choices. We will endeavour to get those going on the water taking part in both keelboat and powerboat sessions; please select your priority so that we can get an idea of numbers.
We suggest that you bring at least two to three people from your club/centre so you can take full advantage of all on land and on water sessions.
