As part of the RYA’s commitment to developing a sports and recreational culture that celebrates diversity and encourages inclusivity, we are pleased to launch the RYA Race and Ethnicity Survey.
By participating in the survey, you will be assisting us in improving our knowledge of the inclusion, visibility and potential barriers that people who are from an ethnically diverse background experience whilst sailing, boating, or participating in water sports. The survey is also open to people who are allies of ethnically diverse people and wish to share positive or negative experiences which they may have witnessed.
The experiences which we collate through conducting this survey will help us to be more informed and will influence the RYA’s next steps in breaking down barriers to participation in boating.
Any information shared within the survey will be completely anonymous and all data will remain untraceable.
The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete, depending on the length of answers.
