Understand Neurodiversity
Members of RYA affiliated clubs, centres, class associations and committees are invited to join an ‘Understanding Neurodiversity’ webinar on 09 November 2022 at 7pm–8:30pm. The presentation will be led by UK wide charity, The Brain Charity.
Neurodiversity is defined by The Brain Charity as: “The concept that brain differences are natural variations – not deficits, disorders or impairments.”
The webinar is free to join and will cover the following topics:
- What does it mean to be neurodivergent? Is it more than Autism, ADHD and a broad range of learning differences such as dyslexia and dyscalculia?
- How can we support and understand others who might be neurodivergent?
- How can we be inclusive of people who are neurodiverse?
