The UK’s leading marine industry exhibition, the Southampton International Boat Show, has announced a raft of new and returning international brands signed up to attend this year’s event taking place from 10-19 September. Many of these include newly appointed UK distributors for international manufacturers, such as Italian yacht builder Comitti Yachts, Kawasaki Jet Skis and companies which have recently opened up UK-based offices including CMC Marine.

Our goal is to offer the marine industry the best and most successful place to showcase products, services and support. We have the largest purpose-built marina in Europe, alongside our land-based themed zones which offer a great, safe day out for everyone,” says Lesley Robinson, CEO of show organiser British Marine. “With so much interest in waterports at the moment, from seasoned sailors to those who are new to watersports, the Southampton International Boat Show is the place to come and see everything in one location, and we’re delighted to welcome new international brands at the show.”

This year sees a number of exciting new and international companies exhibiting at Southampton Boat Show. Created by the shores of Lake Como in Italy, and on show for the first time at Europe’s largest man-made marina at Southampton Boat show, are the stunning boats from Comitti. This family-owned company, founded in 1956, is one of the few remaining Italian shipyards with a tradition of building classically designed Italian wooden motor boats, now available in the UK through its newly appointed UK dealership.

Dr Karen Dickens, Chairman and CEO of Comitti Boats UK and Caribbean, says:The new ISOLA 33 will be making its debut at the show alongside the BREVA 35. It’s a great way for us to showcase the exciting new designs and evolution of the Comitti brand and for visitors to find out more about the Comitti fleet.”

Back after an absence of nearly seven years is Kawasaki Jet-Skis®, showing its new range of multi-seat and stand up personal watercraft (PWC) through UK distributor Boats.co.uk.

Managing Director, James Barke, says:
Kawasaki Jet-Skis® are the original personal watercraft and we are very proud to be representing this highly trusted brand in the UK and for the first time at Southampton Boat Show. As in other markets, there has been an up-surge in boating here in recent months and with less people travelling due to the Covid-19 situation, we see this trend continuing. PWC’s are a relatively low-cost way of getting on the water so all the signs point to a big demand in the future.

Also on display for the first time in the UK will be the new range of Karnic boats. The brand offers boats ranging from 5-9m characterised by distinctive styling, sleek design and high detail. Karnic’s newest models, designs and colour configuration will be at the show.

For those who may already own a boat, Southampton Boat show is the place to go to see all the latest kit, equipment and accessories. The airy open-sided halls and marquees at the show are packed with world leading international products and services.

CMC Marine
is proud to be exhibiting at this year’s Southampton International boat show and will be showcasing its industry leading and innovative range of electrically driven fin stabilisers, thrusters, steering and intruder systems. Based on the south coast of England in Poole, CMC is looking forward to interacting with customers about the multiple strengths and features of their systems, as well as to strengthen its position with yacht builders as demonstrated with its position with leading boat manufacturers.

Alongside all the craft and stands, the Southampton Boat Show will be buzzing with activities for all the family, with dedicated new features, stages, live music, entertainment and guest speakers.

As momentum and excitement begins to build for the show, and everyone looks forward to being together again, now is the time to register for all the show news and be the first r to know when tickets go on sale. Don’t miss out, visit the Southampton International Boat Show website.

As per the Government roadmap, it is planned for outdoor events to run in full format by September 2021. However, the health, safety and security of visitors remains the number one priority. Through engagement with the relevant Government department and Southampton City Council, British Marine will ensure that everyone can enjoy themselves in a safe and happy environment and incorporate any necessary COVID-19 safety measures that may be required at the time.
