Tribord becomes first member to take advantage of NEW British Marine International Membership Package
Earlier in the year, following an increasing interest from overseas businesses, British Marine launched its first ever International Membership Package.
The new membership offering provides a great opportunity for overseas companies to break into UK markets by taking advantage of the benefits and support that British Marine Membership has to offer and we are delighted to welcome Tribord to membership.
Launched in France in 1998, Tribord has gone on to become a very successful sailing brand in France and supply products to well-known retailer, Decathlon.

International Members receive support from our team to break into the UK market, assisting with:
- UK Customs/VAT
- Trading in the UK – Distributor guidance
- UKCA marking/standards
- UK regulations
- UK Statistics
This level of support is not accessible without International Membership.
International Membership subscription fees will be charged based on annual marine turnover in GBP with VAT at 0%.
All international members will still be required to operate within British Marine’s Code of Practice.
