Following the success of the international trade clinics held last year, British Marine is once again partnering with the Department for International Trade to provide its members in the West Midlands with the opportunity to meet a dedicated trade adviser.
Members will be able to discuss export plans and find out more about how the department’s Internationalisation Fund can be used to support attendance at overseas trade shows, as well as market research and consultancy.
The Internationalisation Fund currently provides matched funding, with grants of up to £9,000 available for consultancy support, market research and can be used towards overseas attendance at trade shows. Businesses seeking these funds must speak to their regional trade adviser before they apply which is why we are partnering to provide this opportunity.
The one-hour appointments with DIT West Midlands adviser Heather Crocker will take place on Friday 25 February and come on a first come first served basis. These will be held virtually over Microsoft Teams.
Members based in the West Midlands wishing to register their interest should email Frances Marley on FMarley@britishmarine.co.uk indicating their preference for a morning or afternoon appointment on Friday 25 February.
Further information about the Internationalisation Fund can be found here.
