The latest revision of The Blue Guide, dealing with the implementation of EU product rules, has been published by the Commission.

The Guide covers most EU legislation (i.e. Recreational Craft, Machinery, Personal Protection Equipment, Marine Equipment, EMC and many others) but does not cover the General Product Safety Directive (GPSD) as this has its own separate guide along with the EU Rapid Information System (RAPEX). It also does not cover motor vehicles, construction products or Chemicals (REACH).
It should be noted that it remains as a guidance document and is not considered a Union legal text.
