Newport Boat Show

Sunseeker reflects on a captivating 2023 boat show season. From Cannes, Newport, Southampton, Genoa and Monaco, Sunseeker displayed a strong line-up of yachts across Europe and the United States. Cannes and Southampton led the way with an exceptional ten-yacht display, including the latest and greatest products in the market. Alongside the sensational Superhawk 55 and the beautiful 100 Yacht, Sunseeker introduced the new Predator 75 for the very first time at its home show. The new Ocean 182, named after its gross tonnage, embarked on its maiden voyage to the United States, where it debuted at Newport Boat Show in Rhode Island. This impressive new yacht can be seen at Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show from Wednesday 25 to Sunday 29 October.

The French Riviera is home to two of the most spectacular shows in the yachting calendar. The Cannes Yachting Festival celebrates excellence in the industry, and Sunseeker unveiled two new concept launches. The Predator 55 and 55 Sport Yacht join the Superhawk 55 in what has become an agile range of 55-foot performance yachts. The line-up at Cannes demonstrated Sunseeker’s exceptional approach to industry leading design with a diverse product portfolio from 55 to 100 feet on display. The shipyard proudly won two awards at the prestigious World Yachts Trophies for the Superhawk 55 and the all-new Ocean 182. The glistening Principality of Monaco welcomed the return of the world’s best superyachts. The all-grey Sunseeker 100 Yacht ‘Majic’ was a stand-out yacht in the show, with three further superyachts at anchor. The Hawk 38 rallied between the impressive fleet of yachts outside of the show, offering an unforgettable experience to guests.

Stateside, the Newport International Boat Show featured the Ocean 182 for the first time. This yacht is fundamentally different to others in the Sunseeker range with a third interior deck space and a full-length main deck saloon and entertainment space. She heads to Fort Lauderdale at the end of this month for a climatic event of her debut tour in the United States.

Andrea Frabetti, Chief Executive Officer at Sunseeker International, commented:

“We are very proud to have presented our beautiful product to the yachting world this September. Christopher Head, Group Sales Director at Sunseeker London Group, added:

“This year’s autumn show season was fantastic. The market is looking very buoyant, and we secured several sales of yachts in all sizes, most notably four 100 Yacht orders were secured at Southampton and Cannes. We were delighted to welcome new and existing customers to the Sunseeker family for another year of exceptional showmanship across the Mediterranean. We look forward to keeping up momentum and showcasing the latest products joining us across Europe for the year ahead.”
